Ecclesiastical Design

Art, in any of its forms, stimulates us. It can challenge our ideas. It can push us to new levels of understanding. Layer upon layer, as we grow in our comprehension, art can reach into our souls and confirm what we know to be true.

FPDR is a team of highly experienced Ecclesiastical Designers committed to the mission of celebrating beauty. For over 20 years we have partnered with priests and communities to help them realize their vision and give glory to God.

Services

Usually Carlos Nunes and FPDR are called to a church by its own history. An interested party identifies restoration potential, or someone wonders if there might be something under that panel or that paint. This is step one of a long and necessarily methodical process.

From initial consultation, through diagnosis and acceptance, to restoration and consecration, the process involves respect for the character of the building, its point of emphasis, its surfaces and construction rules, existing documentation, and permission to intervene upon the surfaces to be restored.
